After struggling mightily for nearly three quarters and falling behind 21-3 to Virginia Tech at home, NC State (6-2, 2-2 ACC) rallied to score three touchdowns in nine minutes, and secured a 22-21 win. True freshman quarterback MJ Morris came off the bench and led the way offensively, completing 20-of-29 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns.

The Wolfpack's receiving corps also stepped up down the stretch in the win. Thayer Thomas tallied 10 receptions for 118 yards and two scores, while Devin Carter finished with five receptions for 62 yards, and true freshman receiver Terrell Timmons Jr. added two catches for 51 yards -- including a 43-yarder for the longest play of the night.

After nearly three years of recruiting Dennis Parker III, NC State finally landed the four-star wing from Richmond (VA) John Marshall moments ago. Cory Smith and Miles Masercola jump on an emergency podcast to discuss the Wolfpack's first commitment in the 2023 class.

Just how important was it for Kevin Keatts and the staff to land Parker? What does he bring to the program that's missing? Who does he compare to from the Pack's past? Can this help to keep turning the tide in the Commonwealth of Virginia? We touch on all that and more in this podcast!
