NC State got off to a hot start to the season with the bats, but struggled out of the bullpen to start the year at 2-1 before ACC play begins. Alec Sawyer and Andrew Ciencin discuss the week for the Pack9 and the upcoming ACC opener against Georgia Tech.

Before the discussion of the current season, former Pack9 catcher Brett Austin joins the show to discuss his time in Raleigh, the impact NC State had on his life, being a part of the Nationals organization and much more -- including water slides!


Winning three road games was one thing, but the Wolfpack had none over top-tier opponents in the ACC. NC State got that on Wednesday night, handing No. 15 Virginia its first home loss after 15 straight victories in Charlottesville by a final of 68-61.

Cory and Miles take a look back on the Pack's historic win streak on the road, the continued growth of the freshmen guards, D.J. Funderburk's second-half production and look ahead to the remainder of the Pack's schedule.

NC State went into Winston-Salem and came away with a dominant victory by a final of 80-62. Miles and Cory breakdown the win and what it means for the season on the Postgame Podcast.

Welcome to the first edition of the Sawyer & Ciencin Podcast -- the ONLY podcast devoted entirely to NC State baseball! On the first episode, Alec Sawyer and Andrew Ciencin are joined by long-time Wolfpack assistant and associate head coach Chris Hart, who was the lead recruiter for Ciencin more than one decade ago.

After more than one month of difficult losses and losing one of its best scoring threats, the Wolfpack got a dominant win in Chestnut Hill. Cory and Miles take a look back at NC State's blowout victory and the top performers for the Pack.

In the past three years, NC State has sent six different defensive linemen to the NFL via the draft. One of those linemen was NC native Kentavius Street, who joins Michael and Cory in this special edition of the Pack Pride Podcast.
