Saturday night was an ugly loss for NC State, but we're already looking forward to this week's game against Pitt. James and Cory are joined this week by ESPN's ACC beat writer David Hale to break down the Pack and the rest of the conference.

Can State recover from the blowout in Blacksburg? Who does Hale believe should be under center moving forward? What's going on with the Pack's defense? We take a look at all of it -- and why ESPN doesn't consider NC State in the QBU discussion.

Well, that wasn't pretty. But we're professionals, so we still recorded a podcast.

After NC State's 45-24 loss to No. 20 Virginia Tech, Cory and Michael discussed the horrid start from Bailey Hockman, issues in the trenches -- on both sides -- and their thoughts on the Pack's offense late in the game under Devin Leary.

On Saturday afternoon, NC State landed its second in-state commit in the 2021 class with guard Breon Pass committing to the Wolfpack. Cory and Miles take a look at what Ross' commitment means for Kevin Keatts and his staff along with the entire 2021 class.

What does Pass bring to the Wolfpack in this class? How does he fit in with the current 2020 and 2021 commits? What will the Wolfpack do with the final scholarship in the 2021 class?

Coming off a 45-42 win over Wake Forest, NC State now heads to Blacksburg, Va. for its first road contest of the season. Evan Watkins of VTScoop on the 247Sports Network joins us to discuss the Hokies ahead of their season opener.

Will Hendon Hooker or Brock Burmeister lead VT under center? Are the transfer running backs ready to lead the offense? What are the expectations for LB Rayshard Ashby? Which team will pull out the win according to Evan?

NC State got the football season started off right with a win over Wake Forest in a 45-42 shootout at Carter-Finley Stadium. This week, James and Cory are joined by Abby Labar, a sideline reporter for Fox Sports South and NHL host for the Carolina Hurricanes, to discuss the win and her life over the last wild eight months.

How did Bailey Hockman perform after being thrust into the starting role? How impressive was Tim Beck as a playcaller? Will the Pack play this upcoming weekend against Virginia Tech? We cover all that -- and hand out our three stars for the week!

NC State won a nailbiter over Wake Forest by a final of 45-42 Saturday night thanks to an explosive new offense and key defensive stops at the end. Cory Smith and Michael Clark take a look back on what led to the win, key players and more on the first edition of the 2020 Postgame Podcast.

What were their impressions of Bailey Hockman's start? Just how studly is this running back trio? How good can the front six be after Saturday's showing defensively?

We're now just two days away from the start of the 2020 football season officially kicking off for NC State against Wake Forest in Carter-Finley Stadium. With that in mind, we brought on Les Johns of Demon Deacon Digest to offer an in-depth look at the Deacs prior to Saturday's matchup.

What did we learn, if anything, from Wake's blowout loss to Clemson? How effective is the Deacs' offense after losing nine starters from last season? Just how important is this game for both sides in a conference-only season?

It's finally game week in Raleigh! With the season opener set to kickoff this Saturday between NC State and Wake Forest, James Curle, Cory Smith and special guest host Alec Sawyer take a look at the last week and preview the 2020 football season.

What were our thoughts on the team captains and Isaiah Moore wearing the No. 1 jersey? How will the Pack recover from Louis Acceus being out for the season? We finish the podcast with several over/under projections -- including our projection for wins.

Despite the change in schedule, we're now eight days away from NC State's 2020 football season kicking off on Sept. 19. With the Wolfpack winding down fall camp, Michael and Cory will take a look at every position leading up to the matchup with Wake Forest.

Just how good can the Wolfpack be on special teams with Chris Dunn and Trenton Gill earning preseason hype? Who are the options as returners outside of Thayer Thomas? What are Michael and Cory's predictions for the 2020 football season?

NC State's football season kicks off in nine days, but the NFL begins tonight! With that in mind, James and Cory touch on Wolfpack topics at the top of the show before CBS Senior Analyst Will Brinson joins the podcast.

What are Cory's thoughts on the ACC's proposal for every team to make the NCAA Tournament? What will this season hold for Philip Rivers and Russell Wilson? Will defensive stars like Bradley Chubb, Justin Jones and Germaine Pratt take the next step this fall?

Brinson covers all that and more during his segment -- which begins at the 50-minute mark in this week's episode.

Despite the change in schedule, we're now less than two weeks away NC State's 2020 football season kicking off on Sept. 19. With the Wolfpack recently starting fall camp, Michael and Cory will take a look at every position leading up to the matchup with Wake Forest.

Just how high is the ceiling for Tyler Baker-Williams entering his first year as a starter at nickel? Who are the contenders for the cornerback rotation? Will Tanner Ingle and Jakeen Harris hold down the safety spots? How much will the new position coaches shape the secondary?

NC State has landed its second -- and final -- defensive end commit in the 2021 class with Zyun Reeves making his commitment official. Michael Clark and Cory Smith break down what his commitment means for the Pack.

What does Reeves add to the 2021 class? How did the Pack pull him out of East Forsyth? How will he fit in with the program? Who's next for the 2021 class following Reeves with defensive numbers getting tight?

Since the last Pack Pride Podcast, NC State has returned to the field and court in every sport for practice ahead of the 2020 season -- including football. James and Cory return to Amedeo's to discuss the last week in NC State news on the latest Pack Pride Podcast.

What has been the most difficult aspect of the COVID-19 protocols this offseason? What led to the women's soccer program opting out for the fall? Why did Terquavion Smith get a huge boost in the recent 2021 rankings?
