NC State moved to 3-1 on the season with a 38-21 win over Virginia to win a second straight game on the road in ACC play. What does Saturday's win mean for the program with a tough stretch coming up? What happened to the passing game after the hot start? Is this a sign of what's to come for the NC State defense?

Coming off a Top-25 win over Pittsburgh last weekend, the Wolfpack will conclude its three-game road trip with a showdown against Virginia on Saturday afternoon. With the game less than 48 hours from kickoff, we brought on Richmond Times-Dispatch columnist David Teel to offer an in-depth look at the Cavaliers prior to Saturday.

How well has new QB Brennan Armstrong performed through the first two weeks? How versatile is the Cavaliers' offense? How pivotal is this game for both teams with multiple ranked matchups coming up in the next few weeks?

NC State landed its sixth four-star prospect in either the 247Sports rankings or 247Sports Composite rankings on Tuesday afternoon with Cary (N.C.) Panther Creek safety Chase Hattley committing to the Pack.

The Wolfpack will look to bounce back from a rough outing in Blacksburg, Va., with a trip to take on No. 24 Pittsburgh this Saturday with a second straight road contest. With that in mind, we brought on Ed O'Brien of Panther247 to offer an in-depth look at the Panthers prior to Saturday's matchup.

Just how effective is the Panthers' experienced offense? What makes Pitt's defense so special? How important is this game for the Panthers with a chance to start 4-0 for the first time in two decades?

Saturday night was an ugly loss for NC State, but we're already looking forward to this week's game against Pitt. James and Cory are joined this week by ESPN's ACC beat writer David Hale to break down the Pack and the rest of the conference.

Well, that wasn't pretty. But we're professionals, so we still recorded a podcast.

After NC State's 45-24 loss to No. 20 Virginia Tech, Cory and Michael discussed the horrid start from Bailey Hockman, issues in the trenches -- on both sides -- and their thoughts on the Pack's offense late in the game under Devin Leary.

On Saturday afternoon, NC State landed its second in-state commit in the 2021 class with guard Breon Pass committing to the Wolfpack. Cory and Miles take a look at what Ross' commitment means for Kevin Keatts and his staff along with the entire 2021 class.

What does Pass bring to the Wolfpack in this class? How does he fit in with the current 2020 and 2021 commits? What will the Wolfpack do with the final scholarship in the 2021 class?

Coming off a 45-42 win over Wake Forest, NC State now heads to Blacksburg, Va. for its first road contest of the season. Evan Watkins of VTScoop on the 247Sports Network joins us to discuss the Hokies ahead of their season opener.

Will Hendon Hooker or Brock Burmeister lead VT under center? Are the transfer running backs ready to lead the offense? What are the expectations for LB Rayshard Ashby? Which team will pull out the win according to Evan?

NC State got the football season started off right with a win over Wake Forest in a 45-42 shootout at Carter-Finley Stadium. This week, James and Cory are joined by Abby Labar, a sideline reporter for Fox Sports South and NHL host for the Carolina Hurricanes, to discuss the win and her life over the last wild eight months.

How did Bailey Hockman perform after being thrust into the starting role? How impressive was Tim Beck as a playcaller? Will the Pack play this upcoming weekend against Virginia Tech? We cover all that -- and hand out our three stars for the week!
