It's busy season for NC State Athletics with men's and women's basketball, baseball, wrestling, soccer and several other winter and spring sports colliding, but the college football season is about to get underway -- with the Wolfpack's spring camp kicking off!

Before spring camp gets started, Cory and Michael take an in-depth look at the roster, the upcoming names to know and much more on the Pack Pride Podcast.


After a rough opening series, Alec and Andrew are joined by a guest who knows all about coming back from adversity -- former NC State shortstop Trea Turner. The World Series champion discusses the 2013 College World Series squad, his postgame celebrations in the postseason, becoming a new father and much more!

The guys also take a look back on the Georgia Tech series, win over Campbell and how the Pack 9 can get back on track vs. Miami starting on Friday.


For the first time since Jan. 9, NC State is back above .500 in ACC play thanks to a fifth straight victory Wednesday night in South Bend. Miles and Cory take a look back on the win and the importance of the Pack's finish.

Just how impactful were the freshmen? Why is Jericole Hellems' continued production so vital for this team? How close is the Pack to making a run at the NCAA Tournament? Miles and Cory cover it all!

NC State just continues to tear through the ACC in the last several weeks, this time pulling out another tight game against Pitt. The Panthers made things tight down the stretch, but the Wolfpack led for 37 minutes to clinch a fourth straight victory.

Miles and Cory take a look back on the win, including the veterans stepping up, issues rebounding the basketball and what this means for the Pack with two games left on the schedule.

NC State got off to a hot start to the season with the bats, but struggled out of the bullpen to start the year at 2-1 before ACC play begins. Alec Sawyer and Andrew Ciencin discuss the week for the Pack9 and the upcoming ACC opener against Georgia Tech.

Before the discussion of the current season, former Pack9 catcher Brett Austin joins the show to discuss his time in Raleigh, the impact NC State had on his life, being a part of the Nationals organization and much more -- including water slides!


Winning three road games was one thing, but the Wolfpack had none over top-tier opponents in the ACC. NC State got that on Wednesday night, handing No. 15 Virginia its first home loss after 15 straight victories in Charlottesville by a final of 68-61.

Cory and Miles take a look back on the Pack's historic win streak on the road, the continued growth of the freshmen guards, D.J. Funderburk's second-half production and look ahead to the remainder of the Pack's schedule.

NC State went into Winston-Salem and came away with a dominant victory by a final of 80-62. Miles and Cory breakdown the win and what it means for the season on the Postgame Podcast.

Welcome to the first edition of the Sawyer & Ciencin Podcast -- the ONLY podcast devoted entirely to NC State baseball! On the first episode, Alec Sawyer and Andrew Ciencin are joined by long-time Wolfpack assistant and associate head coach Chris Hart, who was the lead recruiter for Ciencin more than one decade ago.

Following the interview with Hart, the guys hand out their preseason awards for team MVP, Pitcher of the Year, Freshman of the Year and others before giving their season predictions.


Despite yet another late-game surge from its opponent, NC State held on Wednesday night to pull out a 74-73 win over Pitt on the road. Miles and Cory discuss the Pack's latest road victory, the second straight win away from PNC Arena in the last 11 days.

With two chances to get back on track this past week, the Wolfpack came up 0-2 and fell further down the ACC standings. Cory and Miles try to pick up the pieces from the latest loss in the Postgame Podcast.
