NC State fought back after trailing by 12 points with 1:40 left to play to make it a one-possession game with 32 seconds remaining, but couldn't pull out a win at Duke. The Wolfpack fell in Cameron Indoor, 71-67, to close out the regular season with its first consecutive losses of the entire season.

The last week has been another rollercoaster ride for NC State hoops, but the celebration for the 1983 team went down without a hitch. Dereck Whittenburg and the entire living roster was involved in a ceremony during the blowout win over Wake Forest last Wednesday.

To say that Saturday wasn't the Wolfpack's day would be an understatement. Coming off two big in-state wins, NC State couldn't slow down a red-hot Clemson offense inside PNC Arena as the Tigers cruised to a 96-71 win to sweep the season series with the Wolfpack.
