The start of NC State fall camp is less than one week away and our season preview podcasts are already nearing the halfway point. The Wolfpack has some tough tests early in the year, but the first matchup at home in conference play is one of the hardest to predict given the trajectory of the Louisville program.

The 2023 season previews keep rolling on with a look at NC State's first home ACC game of the season against Louisville with Jody Demling of Cardinal Authority. We take a look at expectations for Jeff Brohm's first season with the Cardinals, the packed quarterback room, playmakers on both sides of the ball, how important this game is on the schedule and much more.

NC State's first ACC game will be on the road in Charlottesville against a Virginia program looking to drastically turn things around this fall. The Cavaliers lost several key pieces over the last year -- including new NC State QB Brennan Armstrong -- but hope to make a statement in their ACC home opener against the Pack.

Jacquie Franciulli of Wahoos247 joins Cory Smith on this episode of the Pack Pride Podcast to take a deeper dive into the Hoos. What are the expectations for this year's team? Who are the names to know on both sides of the ball? How important is this game with all of the connections between the two rosters?

The journey for Brennan Armstrong to NC State has been eventful, to say the very least. After a record-setting year in 2021 and a frustrating 2022 campaign, Armstrong arrived in Raleigh for a chance to reunite with OC Robert Anae for one final ride in his sixth season.

Just days away from his third trip to ACC Kickoff and just over one week away from the start of fall camp, Armstrong sat down with Pack Pride for a 1-on-1 interview. We discuss his connection with Anae, how he's dealt with criticism this offseason, what Bradley Rozner's addition means for the offense, working with NC State's NIL Collectives and much more.

NC State's home opener for the 2023 campaign is one of the biggest in recent memory. Not only will the Wolfpack kick off the home slate at Carter-Finley Stadium against a high-profile program in Notre Dame, but it will also be nationally broadcast on ABC in the noon slot on Sept. 9.

So what should Wolfpack fans expect from the Fighting Irish this season? Tim O'Malley of Irish Illustrated joins Cory Smith to discuss expectations for the program, players to know at every position, the strengths and weaknesses on each side of the ball and much more!

NC State's season is still over one month away, but the season opener is an interesting one for Wolfpack fans. The Pack goes on the road to take on a UConn program that was turned around drastically in Year 1 under Jim Mora Jr. and looking to make a statement in the season opener.

Cory Smith is joined on the premiere episode of the preview podcasts by Mike Anthony of the Connecticut Post to discuss the Huskies. Anthony dives into the key names to know for UConn, the quarterback situation in Storrs, why this game is so important for the Huskies and much more.

Exactly two months ago, Michael O'Connell officially entered the transfer portal after three years with Stanford. Just over one month ago, he committed and signed with NC State to become a part of the Wolfpack for his final two seasons at the collegiate level.

The journey that's gotten him to this point has been a long and arduous one. After signing with Maryland to play lacrosse -- where his brother won a national championship -- O'Connell opted to go the basketball route due to sitting out during the COVID pandemic and landed his only Power 5 offer from the Cardinal.

O'Connell went on to start three straight years at point guard for Stanford and average 6.3 points, 3.2 assists and shoot 40 percent from the field. He was also able to graduate from one of the most prestigious universities in the country in that short span of time.

Just days before he arrives on campus with the Wolfpack, O'Connell sat down with Pack Pride to discuss his journey to Raleigh and why he chose the Wolfpack. He also breaks down his fit in Kevin Keatts' system, his relationship with Joel Justus, expectations for his time with NC State and much more!

Ahead of one of the most PACKed weekends of official visitors in recent memory for NC State, Cory Smith and Michael Clark give a complete breakdown of all the upcoming OVs. With 12 players expected on campus, there's no shortage of pressure on the Pack's staff to land some commits given the last few weeks for the program.

How important will commits like Cedrick Bailey and Brody Barnhardt being on campus be for the Pack? Can State close some ground on four-star receivers like Jonathan Paylor, Alex Taylor and keep pace with others for Terrell Anderson? We break all of that down along with a look at the targets in the trenches and four-star safety Ronnie Royal III coming to Raleigh.

It was not a good weekend for the Pack9. After canceling its final non-conference game during the week, NC State was stifled by UNC-Chapel Hill and dropped three straight to clinch a losing record for the second straight year. Now State heads into the final series at home against Pittsburgh needing either two wins or some help from outside to simply make the ACC Tournament.

Alec Sawyer and Andrew Ciencin take a look back on the Wolfpack's frustrating sweep in Chapel Hill, the upcoming matchup against Pitt and what needs to happen for the Pack9 to make it to the ACC and NCAA Tournaments. Listen or watch the full podcast below.
